Salted Caramel Cheesecake Brownie Barsย ๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿซ

Ingredients:

For the Brownie Layer:
150g all-purpose flour
200g unsalted butter
200g dark chocolate, chopped
200g sugar
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
A pinch of salt

For the Cheesecake Layer:
300g cream cheese, softened
100g powdered sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Caramel Topping:
150g soft caramels
3 tablespoons heavy cream
A pinch of sea salt for topping

Directions:

Prepare the Brownie Base: Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Line a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.

In a saucepan over low heat, melt butter and dark chocolate, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Whisk in sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt until combined. Fold in flour until just incorporated. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan.

Make the Cheesecake Layer: In a bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, cornstarch, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth. Spread evenly over the brownie layer.

Pour the remaining brownie batter over the cheesecake layer, spreading gently.

Bake: Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly. Let cool completely.

Prepare the Caramel: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the soft caramels with heavy cream in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.

Drizzle the caramel over the cooled brownie bars and sprinkle with sea salt.

Chill for at least 1 hour before slicing into bars. Enjoy!

Tips:
