Crispy Cottage Cheese Chips

Ingredients:
– 2 cups cottage cheese (full-fat for best texture)

– 1 tablespoon olive oil

– 1 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1 teaspoon onion powder

– 1/2 teaspoon paprika

– Salt and pepper, to taste

– 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast (optional, for a cheesy flavor)

– Fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:
1. If using regular cottage cheese, drain it thoroughly to remove excess moisture. The drier the cheese, the crispier the chips will be
.

2. Use a paper towel to blot any remaining moisture from the cottage cheese
.

3. In a bowl, mix the cottage cheese with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated
.

4. Stir in nutritional yeast if you want a cheesy, savory kick
.

5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup
.

6. Spoon the seasoned cottage cheese mixture onto the baking sheet, forming thin, even circles (about 2-3 inches in diameter) and spacing them apart
.

7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the edges turn golden brown and crispy. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning
.

8. Remove from the oven and let the chips cool for a few minutes to firm up
.

9. If desired, sprinkle with chopped fresh herbs like parsley or cilantro for extra flavor and color
.

Enjoy these crispy cottage cheese chips as a snack or with your favorite dip!

If you try this, be sure the cottage cheese is as dry as possible. I did not, and it was a gloppy mess. Certainly was not even close to crispy. Very disappointing.
