Garlic Spare Ribs Recipe
Ingredients:
2 pounds spare ribs
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
2 cloves garlic, minced
4-6 cloves garlic, peeled
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
dried herbs, (for garnish)
Instructions:
Preheat oven: to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare ribs: Rinse the spare ribs and pat them dry with paper towels.
Make the marinade: In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, vinegar, minced garlic, black pepper, and salt.
Marinate ribs: Place the ribs in a large zip-top bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and massage to coat the ribs evenly. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or ideally overnight.
Bake ribs: Arrange the ribs in a single layer and the garlic cloves on a baking sheet or in a roasting pan. Pour the remaining marinade over the ribs.
Cover and bake: Cover the ribs tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 2 hours.
Uncover and broil: Remove the foil and increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C). Broil the ribs for 5-10 minutes, or until they are browned and slightly caramelized.
Garnish and serve: Garnish the ribs with dried herbs and serve hot.
