Delicious Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream Cake
Ingredients:
For the Cookie Dough Layer:
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
1 tbsp milk (if needed)
For the Ice Cream Layers:
1 1/2 quarts vanilla ice cream, softened
1 1/2 quarts chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, softened
For the Crust:
1 1/2 cups chocolate wafer cookies or graham crackers, crushed
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
For the Topping:
Whipped cream
Mini chocolate chips
Instructions:
Prepare the Cookie Dough Layer:
Beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy.
Add the flour and salt, mixing until well combined. Stir in the mini chocolate chips.
If the dough is too thick, add 1 tablespoon of milk to adjust the texture. Set aside.
Prepare the Crust:
Mix the crushed chocolate wafer cookies or graham crackers with the melted butter until fully coated.
Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form an even crust. Freeze for 10 minutes to set.
Assemble the Cake:
Spread a layer of softened vanilla ice cream over the chilled crust.
Add a layer of the prepared cookie dough and smooth it out.
Top with the softened chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, spreading evenly.
Freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight to firm up.
Top with Whipped Cream and Mini Chocolate Chips:
Once the cake has set, top with whipped cream and sprinkle mini chocolate chips over the top.
Serve and Enjoy:
