Black Velvet Icing:
1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
2 cups powdered sugar
ยฝ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
3 tbsp heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
Black food coloring (optional for intense color)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, beat eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla until smooth.
