Cheesy Bacon Explosion Breakfast Casserole
Ingredients:
8 slices of bacon, chopped
1 lb breakfast sausage
1 small onion, diced
1 bell pepper, diced
6 large eggs
1 cup milk
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 package (16 oz) frozen hash browns, thawed
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat Oven: To 375°F (190°C).
Cook Bacon: In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Sauté Sausage & Veggies: In the same skillet, add the breakfast sausage, onion, and bell pepper. Cook until the sausage is browned and the vegetables are tender.
Whisk Eggs & Milk: In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
Combine Ingredients: Add the cooked bacon, sausage mixture, hash browns, and 1 cup of cheddar cheese to the egg mixture. Stir until everything is evenly coated.
Transfer & Bake: Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Top with the remaining cheese, then bake for 35-40 minutes or until the casserole is set and the cheese is bubbly.
