Classic Crockpot Loaded Steak and Potato Bake
A hearty, comforting casserole combining tender steak, diced potatoes, and a medley of veggies in a rich, savory sauce, slow-cooked to perfection.
Ingredients:
2 lbs beef stew meat, cubed
4 medium potatoes, diced
1 large onion, chopped
2 cups beef broth
1 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp dried thyme
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions:
In a skillet, heat olive oil and brown the beef cubes on all sides; transfer to the crockpot.
Add diced potatoes, chopped onion, garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper.
Pour in beef broth and stir gently.
Cover and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours until beef and potatoes are tender.
Stir in sour cream and half of the cheddar cheese; mix well.
Top with remaining cheddar cheese and let melt before serving.
