Easter Swirl Pie
Ingredients:
1 pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup whipped cream
Food coloring (in pastel shades for Easter)
Sprinkles (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
Prepare the crust: Begin by baking the pie crust according to the package directions or your preferred homemade recipe. Allow it to cool completely before filling.
Make the cheesecake filling: In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, continuing to mix until well combined.
Fold in whipped cream: Gently fold in the whipped cream until the filling is light and fluffy.
Color the filling: Separate the filling into several bowls. Add a few drops of food coloring to each bowl, creating pastel hues for an Easter look. Stir each bowl to evenly distribute the color.
Create the swirl: Spoon dollops of each colored filling into the pie crust. Use a knife or a skewer to gently swirl the colors together, creating a marbled effect.
Chill the pie: Refrigerate the pie for at least 2-3 hours or until the filling has set and firmed up.
Serve & garnish: Before serving, garnish the pie with colorful sprinkles or any other fun Easter toppings.
