Garlic Butter Sausage Bites with Creamy Parmesan Pasta
### **Ingredients:**
– 1 lb turkey sausage links (or chicken sausage), sliced into bite-sized pieces
– 2 tbsp olive oil
– 4 tbsp unsalted butter
– 4 cloves garlic, minced
– 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
– 1 cup heavy cream
– 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– 8 oz pasta (penne, rigatoni, or shells)
– 1/4 cup reserved pasta water (optional)
– Salt and pepper, to taste
– 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
### **Instructions:**
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Reserve 1/4 cup pasta water, then drain and set aside.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add sliced sausage and cook until browned and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, sautรฉing for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
4. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
5. Return sausage to the skillet, then add cooked pasta. Toss to coat. If needed, add reserved pasta water to thin the sauce.
6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately. Enjoy!ย
