Garlic Parmesan Cheeseburger Bombs
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 tablespoon olive oil
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
8 oz shredded cheddar cheese
1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder (for topping)
1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain any excess fat.
Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 1-2 minutes to combine the flavors. Remove from heat and set aside to cool slightly.
Open the can of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Flatten each biscuit into a small circle using your fingers or a rolling pin.
Place a spoonful of the seasoned ground beef mixture in the center of each biscuit, followed by a small amount of shredded cheddar cheese.
Carefully fold the edges of the biscuit over the filling, sealing it tightly to form a ball. Place each stuffed biscuit seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
In a small bowl, mix melted butter, Parmesan cheese, and garlic powder. Brush the tops of the biscuit bombs with the garlic butter mixture.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the biscuit dough is golden brown and cooked through.
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
