Gnome Cupcakes

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup milk

Buttercream Frosting:
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
4 cups powdered sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2-3 tablespoons milk
Food coloring (pink, purple, blue, yellow)
Candy pearls and sprinkles for decoration

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with paper liners.
In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
In another bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk. Mix until just combined.
Fill cupcake liners 2/3 full and bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool completely.
For the frosting, beat butter until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk until fluffy.
Divide frosting into bowls and color each with desired food coloring.
Pipe swirls to form gnome hats using different colored frosting. Use candy pearls for noses and sprinkles for decoration.
Serve and enjoy the magical treat!
