Million Dollar Ravioli Casserole
Ingredients:
1 (25 oz) package frozen cheese ravioli
1 pound ground beef
1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh basil, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly; drain excess grease.
Stir in the marinara sauce to the cooked beef and simmer for about 5 minutes.
In a separate bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
In a 9×13 inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of the meat sauce. Arrange a layer of frozen ravioli over the sauce.
Spoon half of the ricotta mixture over the ravioli, then sprinkle with half of the mozzarella cheese.
Repeat the layers, finishing with the remaining mozzarella and the Parmesan cheese on top.
Cover with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Garnish with fresh basil before serving. This Million Dollar Ravioli Casserole combines the simplicity of pre-made ingredients with rich, comforting flavors, making it a perfect dish for gatherings or a family dinner night.
