Oven Fried Chicken
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 lbs chicken wings (or preferred cut)
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
2 eggs
½ cup milk
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a baking sheet with olive oil.
2. In a bowl, mix flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.
3. In another bowl, whisk eggs and milk together.
4. Dip each piece of chicken into the egg mixture, then coat with the flour mixture.
5. Place the coated chicken on the prepared baking sheet.
6. Sprinkle brown sugar lightly over the chicken for a touch of caramelization.
7. Bake for 35-45 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and crispy.
8. Let cool slightly and serve hot. Enjoy!
