Peanut Butter Banana Chocolate Chip Cake
Ingredients:
– 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 teaspoon baking powder
– 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
– 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
– 1/2 cup brown sugar
– 2 large ripe bananas, mashed
– 2 large eggs
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
3. In a large bowl, cream together peanut butter, butter, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
4. Beat in mashed bananas, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
6. Fold in chocolate chips.
7. Pour batter into prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
8. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
9. Allow cake to cool in pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
