Rotel Dip with Doritos
Ingredients :
• 1 can Rotel tomatoes (diced tomatoes with green chilies)
• 1 lb ground beef (or ground sausage — or a mix of both)
• 16 oz Velveeta cheese – cubed
• 1/2 tsp chili powder (optional)
• Optional: taco seasoning or other favorite spices
• Doritos – for serving
Instructions :
1. Brown the meat:
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, sausage, or both until fully browned and no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
2. Season the meat:
Stir in chili powder, taco seasoning, or any spices of your choice. Mix well to combine.
3. Add Rotel and cheese:
Pour in the can of Rotel tomatoes (do not drain) and add the cubed Velveeta cheese. Reduce heat to low.
4. Melt and stir:
Stir frequently until the cheese is fully melted and the dip is smooth and creamy.
5. Serve:
Serve warm with Doritos for dipping, or spoon it over chips as a nacho-style dish.
