Seared Lobster Tails with Garlic Butter Sauce
A decadent seafood dish with perfectly seared lobster tails and a rich, buttery sauce! Ingredients:
For the Lobster Tails:
4 lobster tails (split in half)
2 tbsp butter (melted)
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp fresh chives (chopped, for garnish)
Lemon wedges (for serving)
For the Garlic Butter Sauce:
3 tbsp unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup white wine (or chicken broth)
1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp lemon juice Directions:
Prepare the Lobster:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Using kitchen shears, cut down the top shell of each lobster tail and pull the meat up slightly.
Brush with melted butter, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Sear the Lobster:
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
Place the lobster tails flesh-side down and sear for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
Transfer to a baking dish and bake for another 5-7 minutes until opaque and tender. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
Add white wine and let it reduce for 1 minute.
Stir in heavy cream, Dijon mustard, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice.
Simmer for 2-3 minutes until thick and creamy. Assemble & Serve:
Plate the lobster tails and drizzle generously with the garlic butter sauce.
Garnish with fresh chives and serve with lemon wedges.
