Strawberry Sensation Ice Cream

Ingredients:
– 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
– 1 cup sugar
– 2 cups heavy cream
– 1 cup milk
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Directions:
1. Start by tossing your lovely sliced strawberries with 1/2 cup of sugar in a bowl. Let them sit for about 30 minutes. This allows them to get all juicy and delicious, making the flavor pop!
2. While the strawberries are working their magic, grab another bowl. Whisk together the heavy cream, the remaining sugar, milk, vanilla extract, and lemon juice until it’s all well blended.
3. Once your strawberries are nice and juicy, puree them along with their juices until smooth. Then, fold this strawberry goodness into your cream mixture.
4. Time to churn! Pour your mixture into an ice cream maker and churn it up according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
5. After churning, transfer your scrumptious ice cream into a suitable container and let it freeze for at least four hours or until itโ€™s firm enough to scoop.
